The event is an annual musical fundraiser and loving tribute to the many friends and family taken by HIV/AIDS. The annual benefit concert was created and produced in 1991 by actress Sheryl Lee Ralph in conjunction with the Diva Foundation to raise money and awareness about the spread of HIV/AIDS and to date is the longest- running AIDS benefit concert in Los Angeles . Each year the concert features a unique blend of talent spanning several genres of iconic musical influences and this year was no different.
